While we'd love to spend all of our time in the Magic Kingdoms, we can't always be there. So for everyone who wants to catch a glimpse of the park, revist fond memories or just pretend they are there, come and have a look at every nook and cranny of the park caught on camera!

12 September 2005, Hong Kong Disneyland opened its gates to the public. The opening featured a mix of Chinese traditional celebrations and Disney parades. All the Disney crew were there, and you know that plenty of photos were taken!

Here we showcase all the little details that have caught our attention in the park, new and old. Keep an eye out here for anything snapworthy! User submissions are always welcome.

On January 19th 2006, before the HKDL Source had even been imagined our own Tom Pacy ventured to this then few month old park. Hopefully these pictures will help to explain why.

In mid 2006, construction began behind the existing Fantasyland on a top-secret project. Most guessed that it would be unveiled as the long-rumoured 'it's a small world' attraction to open in 2008 - and as of the 15th of December, they were right! We now present the best looks we have at this Imagineering in progress.

With all eyes on Fantasyland and the forthcoming 'it's a small world' attraction, Disney tried to slip some additional construction past us in Adventureland and along the Promenade near the entrance to the park. However, nothing gets past our eagle-eyed spies!

In September 2006, our very own Richard Gray took his first trip to Hong Kong Disneyland. As he was soon to discover, it was just like visiting Disneyland for the first time...again. Little did he realise that he would soon develop a small cult based on his hat

Ho-Ho-Hong Kong Disneyland celebrated it's second official Christmas in 2006, and the Resort decked the halls with all manners of fun. Thanks to our Chief Spy and SleeplessInSG, we collected all the finery in photo form.

In 2006, Hong Kong celebrated it's second New Year. Our intrepid Chief Spy was on the scene taking photos, and dancing the night away to classic hits from the 1980s.

Returning to Hong Kong before the Chinese New Year in 2007, Tom couldn't pass up the opportunity to have the full Disney experience, staying 4 nights in Disney's Hollywood Hotel and enjoying 2 days in the park.

Despite the public relations disaster of the 2006 Chinese New Year, Hong Kong Disneyland celebrated in force for 2007's Year of the Pig kick-off. Our roving photographers were on scene to capture the best of the celebrations.

In April 2007, Disney announced in spectacular fashion that Adventureland would be taken over by scoundrels and become Pirate Land for the months of May and June. We didn't miss a second of the action, covering both the Official views and those of our Spies in the park. Avast ye, mateys! There be pirates in that there Disney park!

On 22 May 2007, Pirate Land closed early for a very special event. Our Chief Spy was there for the launch of the third Pirates of the Caribbean film and caught all the action on camera

In 2007, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) celebrated its tenth anniversary. In addition to offering complimentary Annual Passes to all children born in 1997, Disney designed new merchandise, decorations and a number of special events.

Disney kicked off Summer 2007 with two new attractions, the Mickey's WaterWorks Parade and the Animation Academy, along with the extension of the Pirates Takeover Overlay. We've got it all covered photographically here!

The theme was 'Dark World' this year, and featured a new Haunted Hotel; a glow-in-the-dark parade; Space Mountain - Ghost Galaxy and much more. See all the thrills, spills, scares and bears here! Well, maybe not so much the bears...

Ho-Ho-Hong Kong Disneyland celebrated it's third official Christmas in 2007, and the halls were sparkly this year! We've got all the official (and unofficial) Festive Fun right here! We also countdown to 2008, as our Chief Spy goes dancing on New Year's Eve.

In December 2007, Disney announced four new attractions for Hong Kong Disneyland, due to open in Spring 2008: Muppet Mobile Lab, High School Musical Celebration, Nemo Submarine “Turtle Talk” and The Art of Animation.

Disney gives a new twist to the traditional Chinese event, by launching the Year of the Mouse celebrations in Hong Kong Disneyland. The event saw several unique attractions, and a mixture of traditional Chinese scenery and pure Disney magic.

On 27 April 2008, a very special event took place across the park. Our Chief Spy was there for the launch of the park's major attraction of 2008, it's a small world, and caught all the action on camera.
